Interior and exterior renovation on a modest bungalow in SW Calgary.
Designed and built by LivingScape, this project encompassed renovating every square inch of the home, inside and out, including kitchen renovation, basement development, and bathroom remodeling. The home was taken from its dated condition to a stylish, luxury living space in just 16 weeks construction time from start to finish.
This custom home/renovation project consisted of a complete demolition and remodel of an existing modest bungalow in SW Calgary.
We carefully removed the roof, all interior walls and finishes, and completely rebuilt the home on the existing foundation using the original subfloor and exterior walls, which were increased in thickness to accommodate better insulation. We then completely rebuilt the home, complete with a 2nd floor addition resulting in doubling the living space. Basement was redeveloped, new kitchen renovation, 4 new bathrooms, flooring, drywall, windows & doors, custom wainscoting and millwork, 2 designer gas fireplaces, walk-in pantry, upper-floor laundry, exterior finishing, decks, fences and landscaping. All mechanical systems were also updated including all new plumbing right to the groundworks, and new electrical including panel and underground services. End result: a brand new luxury home in a mature neighborhood on an existing foundation. Construction time just 5 months!
